Topic Sentences.

1.   John Bookmeyer is a versatile, well-rounded boy. In
addition to singing in his church choir, he is a drummer in a
small combo. He maintains a high average in his subjects at
school and still manages to play football and run on the track
team. Although he is very popular with other young people, he
doesn't let his social life interfere with his weekend job at the
drugstore.

  2.   The first thing I noticed about the school was the litter
in the schoolyard. Trash and paper were scattered everywhere. The
building, which could have been very attractive despite its age,
was dingy and dirty beyond belief. A window -pane was broken out
of the main door, and the door itself led into a dark, for
bidding hall. As I walked down the hall, I noticed the messy
bulletin board and, in several places, writing on the wall. No
one greeted me when I entered the outer office, although a
receptionist was sitting there noisily chewing a huge wad of gum
and putting on fingernail polish. All in all. I couldn't help
feeling that the school was poorly cared for.

  3.   Through the fog the arc lights high above the stadium
looked like small moons from the field below. The lights were
reflected all over the marshy field in pools of water, an
accumulation of twenty four hours of steady drizzle. Despite
lengthy warm-up drills, the players now felt the cold and
dampness beginning to penetrate. They were either huddled
together or dancing up and down to keep warm-- that is, all
except our first-string quarterback and our all-state offensive
end, both of whom were out of the game with injuries. They sat
glumly on the bench wrapped in soggy woolen blankets, Conditions
could hardly have been worse for this crucial game.

Found the topic sentences or the main idea from the paragraphs wasn't too easy that I expected. But I think that the underline sentences were the most important of each paragraph.

See you!

Movie Review "Bridget Jones: The edge of reason". (2004)

Bridget Jones (RenĂ©e Zellweger) it's again in love troubles with her currently boyfriend Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) and her ex, Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant). After left her job, Jones find another in wich she have to make some "different" interviews. She have a lot of problems with this new job and also with Mark's new colleague, Rebecca Gilles (Jacinda Barrett).

As always, this romantic comedy film, contains a little bit of everything: Jealousy, fights, honor, loyalty and the most important, LOVE.

One of the important facts in a movie, always, is the soundtrack. In this film, the soundtrack continues with the "good taste" from the previous sequel, Bridget Jones's Diary (2001). With Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Amy Winehouse, Areta Franklin and Barry White ("You're the First, the Last, My Everything"), among others great singers.

Directed by Beeban Kidron, "Bridget Jones: The edge of reason" it is a very funny movie. It have one line of filming and the script is fast and powerful. Five out of five stars; thumbs up.

Mitch the ferret: “Friendship”

It is the superbowl season and Mitch wants to go to the stadium to watch their favourite soccer team with his friends, Larry and Linus.

Mitch’s dad, Pete, gave him money for one ticket and Mitch had a good idea to buy the other two tickets. He took the money and bought lemons. After that, Mitch called Larry and Linus and he told them about his idea and asked them to bring more lemons and some sugar to his house.

Meanwhile, Mitch asked to his mother for sugar. He went to the backyard and put a table and a giant sign that said “Lemonade $100”

Later the three little ferrets were selling the lemonades and they were happy doing it. In the afternoon, the ferrets began to count the money and they were very sad when they realised that the money from lemonade sale was very little.

Pete saw them and he was moved by the three little ferrets so he bought three tickets to the superbowl and gave it to Mitch and his friends.

The next day, the friends went to the stadium and they had fun watching the game.

The first image shows us a hugh  disaster. I seldom see the computer (or the screen) because it's full of papers everywhere. I think that the poor guy that is sitting behind the computer is exhausted and crazy with all that trash!!
The second image shows us an office with everything in its right place. The books are order in a little shelf. We would see different office stuff on the desk. Everything is clean and also we would see a chair!

The first bedroom looks like a eighteen-years-old-girl. Everything is so tidy and clean, with books piled up and a great decoration.

The first photo seems like it was taken in a summer and clear day. We can note a mountain range, clouds, trees and a lot of buildings.
